Ochre River
Ochre River is nestled between Riding Mountain National Park and Lake Dauphin. It is minutes away from a number of local beaches, including Rainbow Beach, which is a provincial campground. The Village of Ochre River is home to a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school and is about a 20-minute drive from Dauphin. Students in Grades 9-12 attend the Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School in Dauphin.

Ochre River School
Ochre River School offers an academic program in a multi-grade setting. Students in Grades 7 & 8 travel to Mackenzie Middle School in Dauphin once a cycle for Band, Industrial Arts and Home Economics.
The New Beginnings daycare is located within the school as well.
