Ward Boundaries

Section 57 of The Public Schools Act (PSA) outlines the requirements for trustee representation within a school division.

Following a review of our existing ward structure — and considering recent population shifts, along with the introduction of Bill 16 extending voting rights to First Nations residents — MVSD has re-structured its ward boundaries to be in alignment with the PSA. These ward boundaries will be implemented for the upcoming General Election of School Board Trustees, in October 2026.
