Statement from the Board of Trustees

June 4, 2024 - Yesterday, three long-serving MVSD school board trustees, Leifa Misko, Floyd Martens, and Scott McCallum, tendered their resignations. While we thank them for their years of service, the remaining trustees are committed to building a school division with higher standards of governance and accountability.

We look forward to the Minister of Education’s conclusions from the recent governance review and are open to the suggestions provided. The board will continue to ensure the stability and best interests of our students, staff, and community.
