Student absenteeism rates by school for the previous week will be updated on Mondays on the MVSD website.
The percentage of absences includes all absences, including sickness, appointments, parental excused, and unknown. The percentage of absences should not be interpreted as a direct indicator of COVID-19 risk.
Schools will be examining the daily attendance for upward trends in absences.
